Design 1: On the first design that I drew on photoshop I decided to go with a red and grey colour scheme as I thought that the colours would go well together. I like the red highlights that go through the gun, especially the red parts at the front and the round, red highlight. I imagined the black frame around the circle to spin round when the gun is shooting simulating the charging of the projectile stun. I also really liked the frame of the gun as it is small like a pistol, but the barrel is longer than a typical pistol. I additionally like the leather styled handheld part of the gun as it brings more colour into the design.
One thing I will changer in future models is the base colour of the gun as I don't think grey will be the best base colour and also to make the gun to have a more varying design as I think the gun looks quite boxy and rudimentary.

Design 2: My second design I think looks like a much more complete design compared to the first design. This is because I think I have done the shape of the gun much better than the first one, adding more geometry to make the gun look a lot more appealing and realistic to the first design. Additionally changing the colour scheme I think really helped me out on this design, adding more red led highlights around the gun helped bring the design out more, and putting the base colour as black, with grey highlights fit with the aesthetic of the gun perfectly.
To improve upon, I should maybe add a cylinder to the design to show where the projectiles are coming from, being more symbolic of the power source of the gun.

Design 3: I decided to come from a different approach on this design, opting in with more of a futuristic design compared to the previous designs. I achieved this by opting to use sharper edges on the gun, making it more angular. Additionally I focused on where the power source on the gun is located, using four lines in the middle of the barrel and also adding a pipe that could show the flow of power of the gun.
Although I liked the design, I feel like the shape of the gun didn't match the overall aesthetic of a pistol or a shotgun which was what I was going for as the overall shape, so will try to continue the shape as I did on design 1 and 2.

Design 4: The 4th design was based as a mix between design 2 and 3 where I took the shape of the weapon from both of the designs. The design was inspired by a revolver due to its shape, and the addition of a chamber holding the bullets, I thought was a great addition because it juxtaposes the futuristic design very well.
The barrel of the gun in my opinion is quite boxy and not as pleasing as other barrels such as on design 2 and 3 because of the parallel lines used on the gun are not as good as using angles.
