Darkest Dungeon Evaluation

 Evaluation: What Went Well: Overall, with this project, I am very happy with how the character came out especially with the backstory as I  think it is a very unique angle to explore in the Darkest Dungeon universe due to the exploration of the dangerous areas for documentation.    Another thing that I am happy with through this project is the design iteration I took with the whip as they explore many ideas that the weapon could utilise. Additionally this suits the appearance of the character, using quite an obscure weapon to match her obscure appearance.  Additionally using a more unique ideas for my character to develop helped there to be more unique and adventurous areas to explore for example the idea of a bone whip couldn't have been implemented on my other idea for the knight as it doesn't fit with the expected aesthetic of one, usually wielding a sword or lance. Chosen Hero: The Mapmaker

My Hero The hero that I am deciding to go forward with is hero 1, the mapmaker. I chose this character because it is more unique in terms of its backstory and design, where a tank knight character is already implemented into the game. Mood board I really like the idea of a hooded figure, their features obscured by darkness from their hoods, making you almost subconsciously feel intimidated by the character also accompanied my an uneasiness of what may lie under their hood. Design ideas for the weapon of choice I decided to chose the vertebrae whip as it portrays the character in a more mysterious way, making you question what beast she conquered and stripped for the making of the weapon.  In addition to this the vertebrae whip is more fanatical compared to the other, more conventional whips helping it to blend into the Darkest Dungeon universe. Hero Development

 Ideas for my hero Hero Idea 1: My first idea is to create a quick, damaging character that aids the use of magic for its attacks. The character will be light on its feet, having a higher rate to dodge attacks. Despite its dodging, the character has a low amount of health but can deal good damage to enemies.  The appearance of the character will be very shrouded and secretive, some vials of mysterious potions and parts of maps are strapped to the character. The character will appear always uncannily clean and wears a light, fur coated, almost cultist overalls to hide their identity and create an air of uneasiness to foes. The colors I am thinking that will suite my character is navy blue with red trim with a red dyed whip. Backstory:  The backstory of the character is that they were once a mapmaker, sacred and often lonesome beings that goes around the DD2 world fighting foes and bartering to explore and get info about the far reaches of the land. Maths: Matricies 9.12.21

Addition:   Matrices are identified by using: [ ] with 4 numbers, two on top of each other. To solve two matrices is to add the opposing numbers in both matrices. Subtraction: To take matrices away you have to change the second matricide to a negative value of it and then change the operation sign to an add.  Division: To divide you need to multiply the inverse of a matrix. You start by inversing the second matrix. [3  1]  / [5  7]         so for a 2x2 matrice we start by swapping the first and last numbers  [12 4] / [6  8]            and  putting negatives in front of the second and third numbers.
